Didi

Did someone already feed the dog, lock the door, change the filter? Didi is the shared memory a household keeps losing — a log of what was actually done, not a list of what should be. It is not a chore app, a calendar or a family chat.

Interactive recreation

Answer “has the dog been walked?” — then add something of your own.

A web recreation of one Didi flow with sample household data, not the app itself. Didi’s logic is bound to its native UI layer and there is no engine boundary to expose, so what you are using is the interaction, not the product.

Show that recording what happened beats maintaining a list of what should.

Why it exists

A shared household record of what got done, by whom, and when.

The friction in a shared household is rarely the work itself — it is not knowing whether the work already happened. That question gets asked out loud, or worse, silently assumed, and the result is either duplicated effort or a task nobody did. Didi exists to answer one question well: has this already been done? Everything it does not do is deliberate.

What it does

The parts that matter.

  • 01

    Memories, not tasks

You log what happened rather than assigning what should happen. The record is the product; there is no backlog to feel guilty about.

  • 02

    Shared by household

Everyone in a household sees the same timeline, so "did anyone…" has an answer instead of a guess.

  • 03

    Built for the boring questions

Filters changed, doors locked, pets fed, bins out. The unglamorous things that cause most of the friction.

How it was built

The record is the data model, not the to-do list

Most household apps model tasks, then try to infer what happened from which boxes got ticked. Didi stores the event — who did what, when — and treats the list as a view over it. That is why answering “has the dog been walked?” is a lookup rather than an inference, and why nothing needs to be assigned to anyone in advance.

Where it stands

LIVE

Live on the App Store, free, since September 15, 2026. The current version is 3.0.1, from September 28, 2026. The listing is the only one in this catalogue that declares more than one localisation: 8 of them. The Android build is still in closed testing on Google Play, so there is no Play link here yet.

We do not publish download counts, ratings or revenue figures for any product. Nothing here has been on a store long enough for one to mean anything. Privacy information for Didi.
