Terms of Service

These terms are published so that they can be read. Smart Consumer Guides Studio is not offered to anybody: there is no public version, no sign-up, and no way to obtain access. If you have arrived here looking for a service to use, there is nothing here to agree to.

1. What the application is

Smart Consumer Guides Studio is an internal NOVEMADE tool that assembles documentary videos and publishes them to NOVEMADE’s own YouTube channel, Smart Consumer Guides. It runs on a studio workstation and is operated from a command line by the holder of the Google Account that owns that channel.

2. Who may use it

NOVEMADE, and nobody else. Access is not sold, licensed, shared or granted. Any attempt to use the application, its OAuth client or its credentials without authorisation is unauthorised access, and the credentials are held so that this is not practically possible.

3. The channel and its content

Everything the application publishes is content NOVEMADE produced and is responsible for. Videos on Smart Consumer Guides are subject to YouTube’s Terms of Service and its community guidelines like anybody else’s, and nothing in this document claims otherwise. The application publishes nothing without a human approval step, and it never publishes to a channel other than ours.

4. Google and YouTube API use

The application uses YouTube API Services. In using them we are bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and by the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. What the application does with Google data, and what it does not do, is set out in its privacy policy, which is the document that governs that question.

5. No warranty, and no service

Because the application is not offered to anyone, no availability, performance or fitness is promised to anyone. It is a tool we use, provided to ourselves as it is.
